Today's food list:  one slice whole grain bread (made into cinnamon toast), small popcorn at the movie (Shutter Island - great movie, but makes you wonder if YOU are insane by the end!), Red Lobster: one biscuit, caesar salad, about 1/3 of my tilapia with lobster on top, about 3/4 baked potato, about 1/4 cup broccoli

I can tell I haven't eaten as many fruits and veggies today as usual.  I ran out of my grape stash!  This week has the potential to be busy and very stressful.  I need to make wise choices in light of that kind of week.

Oh, and one more thing.  I keep getting people telling me that they are reading, but alas, you aren't commenting!  I'd love to hear your thoughts and I'd love to even just know you are reading - that provides accountability for me!!

  1. well,you know I am reading. :)
you know, I was thinking if I was blogging, I'd write a posts about soups. I'm just loving all the low-fat, high protein/fiber soups of the winter. Even pulled out the old Weight Watchers "skinny soup" which is ALL veggies (well, with some chicken broth and I admit I sauteed the onion and garlic in 1 tsp olive oil - but still....) it's "free" as in really no calories. In addition to just having a cup when I'm hungry, I tried pureeing it with an immersion blender and putting it over multigrain pasta as a sauce. With just a bit of parmesan on top, it really worked well! you might want to try it as an easy way to get more veggies in.
